Wine & Beer
Any trip to Pearmund Cellars and its Farmstore should include enjoying its wine. The Farmstore is the only place where you can purchase and enjoy wines from Pearmund Cellars, Efffingham Manor and Vint Hill Craft Winery in one place.
We now carry Sinistral Brewing Company and rotate seasonally 3 different beers to choose from.
Wines from each winery are for sale at Farmstore Friday – Sunday, with Pearmund Cellars wine club members enjoying their benefits on the Pearmund Cellars wines. Wines are available by the bottle with select wines being offered by the glass each week from all three of the wineries.
Each week, a different flight of wines is offered, one from each of the wineries, and throughout the year special tastings and events are held in the Farmstore, continuing the tradition of education and enjoyment at Pearmund Cellars.
It all started with Pearmund Cellars wine. One of the top wineries in Virginia, with over 1000 medals, (300+ gold) over the 22 years of operation, we pride ourselves by saying ‘Its about the wine’. We make 100% Virginia wine, but sometimes we go outside the country, recently bringing in a Table wine from Portugal (Alento) and German Reisling from the Mosel.
Known for our Chardonnay and Ameritage, we make Viognier, Petit Manseng, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and classic Virginia Blends. Our Virginia’s Heritage, Black Ops and Cameo Rose are examples of how we are industry leaders and like to tell a story with our wines.
We opened our other sister property, Effingham Manor in 2017. Converting and old Plantation, any visit to Effingham is a tour of history. The wine line up is special as well. Focusing on blends, Effingham is known for its Kins Ransom, Reserve, Celebration (white) and its award winning Tannat, named one of the Worlds best by Wine Enthusiast in 2019.

One of our two sister properties, we opened Vint Hill in 2009 at and old WW2 Listening Post, keeping the theme of 40’s America and Cold War. The winery makes upwards of 20 wines a year, each in limited production with a focus on quality. While we primarily make wine from Virginia fruit, at Vint Hill you can find Syrah, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and other California varietals—all brought to serve and sell at the Farm Store.
